In a far, far distant galaxy lies the unstable Planet Chaos, serving as a penal colony for the dregs and outcasts of the Universe, much as the continent of Australia once served merry old England.

In the struggle between the forces of Order and Chaos, Order has for long held the upper hand and used it to rid Earth and other worlds of evil vermin.

The recently discovered Journals of Chaos tell of the struggles of the exiles and the power growing within their ranks In particular, the Council of Chaos is rapidly becoming a force to be reckoned with. Currently the word being sent back from outer space is: Beware of Merlor, High Lord of Chaos!

If you have wondered at the absence of wizards, warlocks, black magicians, witches, rogue warriors, dragons,
unicorns and other wicked creatures from Earth, you may have come to the conclusion that these were all
mythological, the products of overactive imaginations. Not so! They are real and they still exist...out there. They have
been declared outcast and exiled to a point of no return to the Planet Chaos.

We have long suspected that the Planet Chaos is located within a black hole that effectively blocks the escape of the
exiles, in spite of their unbelievably great powers for wrong-doing.

Unfortunately, those who owe loyalty only to Chaos were not stripped of their dark powers and, over the many
centuries, have been gathering strength. Their dream is to return once more to their worlds of origin and rule in the
name of Chaos.

To understand just what we are up against, the Journals of Chaos are being published on the Internet.

Working on the premise that it is better to know your enemies, you have this opportunity to study them through their
acts so you will recognize them when they return.

The Journals are the key. They fell into our hands quite by chance. And, to protect our source, we cannot reveal the
details. Know only that the Journals are real. The enemy is real. Chaos is real and Merlor, Lord of Chaos is real.
